Natural lighting can sometimes be limited in a bathroom, especially as the shades are drawn so often, so you will need to make up for it with lighting that keeps the room bright enough for people to perform their grooming rituals (and flattering enough that they won’t want to run away when they catch a glimpse of themselves in the mirror!).

After these concerns comes the fun stuff – the bathroom accents. When you’re choosing your bathroom accents, keep in mind the feel you want to create for your bathroom. For instance, if you want a nautical theme, seashell accents and maritime themed wall art is a must. If you want a French Country style bathroom, bunches of dried lavender make an ideal addition. When you’re accenting your bathroom design, keep the functionality of the room in the forefront of your mind, and don’t overcrowd the area.
