HGTV Design Star was a reality show that first aired in 2006, putting interior design contestants through their paces in a competition to become the network's next design star.

Hosted by Clive Pearse, HGTV Design has been judged by interior designers Vern Yip, Genevieve Gorder, and Candice Olson, as well as Cynthia Rowley and magazine editor Martha McCully.
