Thanks for the article. My personal taste mixes African crafts with contemporary items. That the way I live my life- a blend of my West Indian culture with African heritage. Consider African inspired products such as porcelain dishes for family dinners. SoHe Designs has a collection of dinnerware (Mali and Massai) and tea sets (Liberia). For the holidays there's Poinsettia from the Spray Paint line. The design concepts came from the fabric, tribal shields, urban life and fashion trends. The Liberia is actually a true African Toile.
