Kasey - you have a really good idea. mixing two shades of pink can work well if they're not too dramatically different, amd polka dots can look great in a girl's room - funky, but cool. Why don't you send us some pictures if you do this in your room?

For my 15th birthday in two months my parnets are letting my redecorate my room how ever I want. My walls and carpet are both pink. I like bright colors. i have found a light yellow, light geen, light purple, and a light blue but I have to keep my walls pink and carpet pink but I can put stars, stripes, circles pretty much what ever I want but I have to draw something out. i want to have all the walls look different bc i dont like to have things being like everyone elses. I am a teen and I don't get any money at all. I am 13 and would really like to decorate my room. My friend suggested to do loads of paintings on canvas and stick them all over the room, but I want the room to feel big as well as small. I think that I could get my Dad to buy some carpet (this would take ages) and also some paint. Very light pink on the walls with a top border or dark pink squares... Good??? ty.

I got some great information from this page, however I am fifteen, and decorating my room by myself, and I love faries. The problem is that all the "fairy" themed rooms on any website I've tried are pink, and meant for a five year old.

I'm also an artist. I paint murals for companies who need decoration on the inside, so I can also do any of my own work for art decor. The problem is, I dont want ONLY paintings, and murals, I want other decorations as well. But I cant think of any creative decorations.

Do you have any ideas?
